MODULE 1 / WEEK 1 :- Getting Ready to Learn
MAKING THE TRANSITION (FROM SCHOOL TO UNIVERSITY) CHARACTERISTICS OF SUCCESSFUL STUDENTS USING LEARNING STYLES TOENHANCE PERFORMANCE…

1.      Dewan Indera Segera is the place that we were attended for our  first study skill class. It was held started at 8 am until 10 am. In this class we have been exposed about what is study skill by Dr. Halil bin Paino. Firstly,I  was wondering how was this subject going to be? Is it hard for me or maybe it will be quite easy to learn?  So,in this class Dr. Halil was divided us into  a six group. Inside of the each group there wil be a lot of sudent that such as civil engineering , business management, wood technology and others.

2.      It is not easy for someone to change to something new in his life. Therefore the subject is introduced to prepare students from school to age at university level.  

3.      8 ways that can be done to prepare yourself to become a visionary university student: -
·         Always go to class - trying and always diligent to get to class.
·         Be an active person listening  - In contrast to the school level, at this university level we need to be sensitive and always write and read every note every day so we can remember it for longer.
·         Participate in the class – it will help you to be more comfortable with your learning process in that clas.
·         Get to know your lecture – take your time to get know your lecture. It will make you feel more comfortable to ask any question that you don’t understand.
·         Form study group with your friend – make a study group about 4- 5 members in that group. But, you must be smart to choose friends that are serious about their studies.
·         Stay up to date with your work - Generally, most new students entering the university often suffer from their learning process. This should be avoided because if you miss something about learning, you need to study it as soon as possible and because of the possibility that if you suspend it you will lose it.
·          Be  receptive to change - If you find that your learning strategies at school are ineffective, then ask for help from your lecturer or from counselors on new learning techniques advice. At first it is quite difficult for us to practice it but believe it and try the technique as much as possible.

·         Work hard for this semester – let’s just forget all abou trivial and be more focuse on this semester , if you want to score this semester.

This is because this goal setting is a goal that will helps us to achieve what is our desire. So as a university student we also have to make our own goals setting  because it also can be  a source of our motivation. To be both useful and motivating, the goals you set must have some important characteristics: 1. Goals should be self-chosen 2. Goals should be moderately challenging 3. Goals should be realistic 4. Assalamualaikum w.b.t.. Hi my  name is  ANIS  NADZIRAH  BINTI  MUHAMAD  SAURI and I am 18 years old. I was born on 8 September 1999  at  HOSPITAL KUBANG KERIAN, KELANTAN. But  I  lived at SELANGOR  for almost 18 years. On  22th  May 2017 , I was  register  as a student at Uitm  Pahang  Campus Jengka  but not  for  the  first  semester . It was called as  INTERIM SEMESTER . This program  was organized  by  UiTM for all  new students starting this year  2017 and we are the first batch.The main purpose of this programme is   to help the learning process for the new student in UiTM to be more easier during the first semester.This program will be held for 7 week on lecture.
